1- Viola Davis (How to Get Away With Murder)
Davis is one of the rare actresses who I can say that I
loved them on both the big and the small screen. While I loved her in “The
Help”, Davis’s performance on the ABC hit drama “How to Get Away with Murder”
as “Annalise Keating” is what truly won me over. Adding another accomplishment
to her list, Davis made history when she became the first African American
woman to win a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama
Series. Season 2 is now airing every Thursday
on Abc.

2- Megan Boone (The Blacklist)
Megan Bonne portraying “Elizabeth Keen” delivered a sturdy
and a powerful performance on The Blacklist. Sadly it’s often overshadowed by
James Spader , Boone does not get the praise she deserve. I am not familiar
with Megan’s big screen roles, however her performance on “ Law & Order: Los
Angeles” was quite impressive. The
Blacklist airs every Thursdays at 9/8c on NBC.

so damaged. You can't accept help from anyone. Has anyone ever helped you? Is
that why you are the way you are, because you don't fee deserving of it. Is
that why you can't be vulnerable for a second? I risked my life for you because
I care about you. Deal with that. And when someone does something nice, you're
supposed to say thank you.”

3- Lana Parrilla (Once Upon a Time)
Who knew one day that The Evil Queen would be the most loved
character on TV? Hilarious and dramatic
when needed Lana’s “Regina Mills” performance overshadowed the countless
characters introduced in the show. The journey from the villain to a hero and a
savior, the road to finding her happy ending, the evil that was not born, but
made, all come together to form an epic performance from Lana Parrilla. Once
Upon a Time Season Five new episode is airing on 10/11 on ABC.

4- Katie Cassidy (Arrow)
Cast as Oliver Queen love interest “Laurel Lance” Cassidy’s character ended up being much more. When most love interest end up being uninteresting and not liked by the fans writers usually kill the character or cast them away. Cassidy gave one her best performances I’ve ever seen, her battling addiction and becoming a superhero when everyone was against her managed to transform a somehow pointless annoying character to an important key element in the show. If Arrow writers decided to make a spin-off for Laurel Lance (Black Canary) I won’t even hesitate to watch it.

5- Emily Bett Rickards (Arrow)
What’s even more remarkable than the show Emily starring in, is her convincing performance as “Felicty Smoak”. In only few episodes she managed to capture the heart of Arrow viewers, and demand her return. With more character development and background Emily took her character from an entertaining accessory to a must watch on every episode. Arrow returned with its fourth season on The CW.
